Today, the planet needs us to protect and preserve it more than ever before. At Snel, it seemed obvious that we needed to adapt: paper from sustainable forests (PEFCTM, FSC®), more eco-friendly products, recycling, etc.
FSC CERTIFICATION
Certificate no. SGSCH-COC-004274, Forest Stewardship Council
Snel is FSC certified. This label ensures that the products come from forests that are responsibly and sustainably managed.
PEFC CERTIFICATION
Certificate no. CH12/0435, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification
Like the FSC, the PEFC certification certifies that the paper being used comes from a forest that is managed in a sustainable manner, and that it complies with ecological, economic, social and ethical standards.
Almost all of our papers are certified by one organisation (FSC/PEFC).
IMPRIM’VERT CERTIFICATION
Snel is also IMPRIM’VERT-certified. This certification, which is recognised by everyone in the graphics industry, speaks to a shared desire to reduce the environmental impact of printing activities
CO2 NEUTRAL
Snel is among the companies that calculate, reduce and offset their environmental impact (manufacturing, transport and installation).
RECYCLING & ADAPTED PRODUCTS
Snel has also adapted products that are used in this way in its work :
- Recycling used sheets and ink residue.
- Disposal of paper waste via suction for compacting and recycling by agreed-upon entities, so that it can be reintegrated into the manufacturing circuit of paper-makers.
- Recovery of hot air, which is produced by the machines, to heat the workshop.
